Imogen Teasley-Vlautin is a producer, composer, and songwriter from Los Angeles. They’ve scored films and installations that have shown at institutions such as MOCA, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Kennedy Center, and LA Forum for Architecture, and they have performed at venues such as BAMPFA, The Feminist Center for Creative Work, the Strand Theater, and the Exploratorium. They’ve worked with brands and organizations ranging from Apple to the internet archive, and Their work has been highlighted in publications such as Fact Mag, SF Weekly, and KQED. They were a 2023 artist-in-residence at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn, NY. They composed an original score for the 1937 film Glens Falls Sequence by Douglas Crockwell, commissioned by Smartbomb x Loud Cinema, and have also recently scored the Digital Transgender Archive podcast. As a drummer, they have shared the stage with artists from William Winant to Phoebe Bridgers. As a recording engineer, they have worked on audiobooks for simon & Schuster, TV shows such as W. Kamau Bell’s United Shades of America, and with artists such as Alessia Cara. Imogen is now shifting their energy to songwriting and production and they’re working toward sharing what they’ve been making.
